Join a GREAT Club!!

LionsCyclingforSight.Org is now officially known as the Maryland Cycling for Sight Lions Club.  We received our charter at 2 PM Saturday 5 June 2010 at the Aberdeen Senior Center, Aberdeen, Maryland.

Most activities of the Club including holding meetings, paying dues and fund raising activities are through the magic of the internet and your laptop.  We are organizing a 501(C)(3) organization to support our newly-formed Eye Banks and will hold a Family Fund Raising Ride on 16 October 2010 at the Rite Aid Warehouse in Perryman, Maryland.  In 2010 have promoted the interests of our Lions and Commercial Sponsors and provided funds to the LCIF Haitian Relief Fund, the Meeting Ground Homeless Shelter, the Wilmer Eye Institute, and Lion Laquilla Harris' Eye Surgery.  Because this is a cyber club, anyone in the world can join and participate on-line.  To become a member, email your name and contact information to Register@LionsCyclingforSight.Org or call Lion Mike Layman at 410-652-3875 and we will extend you a formal invitation.

Lion Mike Layman and Loyal Friend Dutch.  You don't need to ask.  Dutch is an Airedale Terrier.  Airedales were bred in the 1800's in the Aire River area of Scotland to hunt otters.  Even though Dutch lives on the banks of Otter Point Creek where otters also live, he would try to kiss an otter if he met up with one.
