The purpose of LionsCyclingforSight.Org
is to promote Lionism and raise funds through the sport of bicycling for Campaign Sight First II which is a program
of Lions International to Prevent and Cure Blindness around the world.We solicit Lions Clubs, individual
Lions, businesses and private individuals to provide sponsorships.In return, we conduct marketing for
our sponsors by promoting their names through bicycling, advertising, and visability in electronic and print media,
and involvement in community affairs. All profits go to Lions International to Prevent and Cure Blindness through Campaign
Sight First II.
Lions Clubs can earmark Melvin Jones Fellowships to LionsCyclingForSight.org
and Campaign Sight First II.
Purpose: To raise over One Million
Dollars through 2015 when we will cycle across the United States.
We will visit as many Lions Clubs as possible during all cycling
events. We will visit Clubs in Cecil and Harford, and Montgomery Counties, Maryland in the spring of 2009.
